Terry Volk, Certified Open Adoption Practitioner Facilitator, founded A Baby from Heaven Adoptions and has been facilitating since 1996. The organization was created to help build families through open adoption via nationwide advertising and networking for birth mothers. Our primary focus is to work with women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy and considering adoption as a positive alternative. Every day in America, over 4,000 pregnancies are terminated.  Each year, two to three million couples actively seek to adopt a child, but only 50,000-75,000 babies are available for adoption. As our advertising and networking efforts help bring us women who are considering adoption for their unborn baby, we are excited to introduce them to waiting families

A Baby from Heaven Adoptions is not a licensed adoption agency. We are engaged solely in the business of adoption facilitation, as defined by the State of California, Family Code, commencing with Chapter 1.5, section 8623. "Adoption Facilitators may advertise for the purpose of soliciting parties to an adoption or locating children for an adoption, and may act as an intermediary between the parties to an adoption.  Adoption facilitation services are limited to education, support, resources, advertising and networking Adoption facilitation is a private service and is not subject to licensing by the State of California.

Our services are simple. As you are accepted into our program, you will retain our services by paying a flat fee. The cost for the ads and our adoption advertising coordination services are payable in full at the time you retain us. This fee will render adoption facilitation services involving resources, advertising and networking in connection with the routine domestic adoption of one child within a twenty-four month period, whichever occurs first.

A Baby from Heaven Adoptions renders its services to a limited number of prospective adopting clients at any given time.  We do not "select" the client for the birth mother, nor the birth mother for the client. It is up to the birth parents of the child to personally select you as the adoptive parents and for you to agree to accept working with them. Although most of our clients locate a suitable birth mother through our services within 1-12 months, please be advised that at no time can we make a guarantee that you will succeed in finding a child to adopt in this or any time frame, or that the adoption will successfully finalize. However, if an adoption fails and your agreement has not yet expired, our clients will not be charged a second fee for further services.

I encourage you to speak with past and current clients regarding their experiences. We work directly with prominent Adoption Attorneys and Adoption Agencies across the U.S. We have been working with these adoption professionals for a minimum of 12 years and have built many families together.
